Live, Love, Laugh, Learn

I am really excited and honored that I was asked to present at this year's La Leche League Conference . I am co-presenting the seminar entitled "Picture Perfect" with fellow photographer, Dennis Wilson. We will be teaching some of the basics of digital photography, how to take "professional" photos & how to create a memorable DVD from those shots. The conference is September 8-10 in downtown Phoenix.

Nicole & Jarrod - April 22, 2006

I just got back from beautiful California! Nicole and Jarrod were married at the historic Darlington House in La Jolla, CA. After the ceremony we snuck off to the beach taking portraits along the way. It looked like it would rain all day and I think I was more concerned about it than the bride. Nicole was so calm and fun to work with. She didn't mind getting dirty, which let me me be as creative as I wanted. The storm clouds gave us this beautiful light:

DWF Convention

I just got back from the Digital Wedding Forum convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The DWF is a great resource for wedding and portrait photographers. On the forum, photographers can get photography advice and critique eachothers work.

The convention was great! It was very inspirational and I have tons of new ideas I am dying to try out. One of the neatest things we did was attend the live wedding of Mark Roberts, the president and CEO of Art Leather Albums. His wedding was shot by some of the top photographers in the industry: Vanessa Hall and Yervant (from Australia), Bambi Cantrell, John Michael Cooper, Lisa Pyden, Doug & Chenin Boutwell and Dave & Quin Cheung.

Tina & Geoff's Engagement

I just had an engagement session with Tina & Geoff. What a cute couple! They were fun to shoot and totally in love. It makes my heart melt when I meet couples like this! We had a great time playing around at the park.
